1 Quart Cream
1 1/2 Cups Scalded Milk
1/4 Cup Ground Coffee
1 1/4 Cups Sugar
Yolks of 4 Eggs
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Pour hot milk over the coffee, steep 20 minutes. Strain. Mix the eggs, slightly beaten, with the sugar; combine the two mixtures and cook over hot water until thickened. Cool, add cream, whipped. Add vanilla and freeze
