1 Pint Boiling Water
1 Pint Milk
1 Yeast Cake (2 1/4 Teaspoons Active Yeast)
1 Teaspoon Salt
Pour boiling water into milk and when lukewarm add yeast and salt. Add sufficient whole wheat flour to make a dough. Knead until smooth, cover, and stand aside for three hours. Make into loaves and put in pans. After standing an hour, bake in a quick oven one-half hour.
