2 Cups Cornmeal
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Pint Seeded and Chopped Rasins
Combine ingredients and pour enough boiling water to make a stiff dough. Make into cakes with the hands, about one inch thick, and fry in fat until nicely browned.
