1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Milk
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon vanilla, nutmeg or any other flavoring
2 Cups Flour
Cream the butter and sugar. Beat the egg and add to the milk. Sift flour and mix baking powder with one cup, combine mixtures, then add the rest of the flour, and only enough more to handle. Chill in refrigerator. Roll on floured board 1/4 inch thick. Shape with biscuit cutter. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, chopped nuts. Bake in hot oven, 375F 8 to 10 minutes.
